Premium Key Controlled Rim /Mortise Cylinders are machined engineered and designed to resist physical attacks and vandalism. Key Controlled cylinders recommended as the new standard for behavioral health and ligature resistant applications. Each cylinder comes with a patented #06 keyway, 5 Key Controlled dimple keys and a duplication card. Commonly used on apartment and condominium doors, rim cylinders are used on vertical deadbolt locks and are also designed for commercial exit and panic devices. Premium Rim / Mortise Cylinders can be easily converted to a mortise cylinder by simply replacing the rim tailpiece assembly with the appropriate cam.
